Worked on the mikeharder/azure-rest-api-specs repository to deliver a feature enhancing Edge Sites Management by relaxing the service group name pattern. Addressed the need for greater flexibility in site creation by updating the regular expression used for service group name validation, allowing a broader character set and revised length constraints. This change enabled the creation of sites at the service group root, removing previous restrictions that limited naming conventions. The work was implemented using TypeScript and focused on API specification and regular expressions, demonstrating attention to detail in validation logic and a targeted approach to expanding platform capabilities within the repository.
