Worked on the DefiLlama/dimension-adapters repository to improve data reliability and reduce maintenance overhead by realigning volume data sources and deprecating outdated adapters. Addressed a bug affecting external data fetches by updating the Brine Dexs adapter to source data directly from brine.fi, while removing the deprecated Tanx adapter to streamline the codebase and minimize potential failure points. These changes enhanced the freshness and accuracy of data available to downstream dashboards and analytics. The work involved full stack development and API integration, utilizing JavaScript and TypeScript to deliver more robust data pipelines and support more accurate business reporting.
