During June 2025, Aveleyal expanded item lore for three cigarette brands in the cmss13-devs/cmss13 repository, focusing on enhancing narrative immersion and supporting role-playing within the game. Leveraging the DM language and skills in content creation and lore writing, Aveleyal implemented extended lore through the desc_lore field, integrating seamlessly with the existing item description workflow. This approach maintained data-model compatibility and avoided schema changes, minimizing technical risk while enriching the in-game storytelling experience. The work established a foundation for future lore-driven content, demonstrating thoughtful integration of narrative elements into the game’s data structure and supporting ongoing content pipeline development.
