During August 2025, Burnertron focused on backend development for the cmss13-devs/cmss13 repository, delivering a security enhancement to the ID modification console. They implemented user-scoped access control using DM, ensuring that only the originally authenticated user could perform ID edits. This approach strengthened the authentication workflow by enforcing per-user authorization, reducing the risk of unauthorized changes and improving auditability. Burnertron validated the integration with the existing authentication framework, confirming no regressions in related modules. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the work demonstrated a targeted application of backend and game development skills to address a critical security concern.
