Rsalim developed IPv6 support for the AviatrixSystems/terraform-provider-aviatrix repository, enabling users to create IPv6 gateways with associated IPv6 subnet CIDR blocks. Using Go and Terraform, rsalim implemented validation logic to ensure correct configuration and introduced mechanisms to suppress unnecessary plan diffs when IPv6 is not enabled. This approach reduced deployment noise and improved automation reliability for cloud infrastructure teams adopting IPv6. The work focused on enhancing the provider’s readiness for IPv6 networks, addressing both feature implementation and user experience. Over the course of the month, rsalim delivered a targeted, well-integrated feature that improved deployment workflows without introducing regressions.
