Worked on the EPF-MDE/git-first-steps repository to address contributor metadata management by cleaning up and consolidating entries in the CONTRIBUTORS and AUTHORS files. Focused on resolving merge conflicts and removing duplicate contributor records, this effort improved data consistency and prepared the repository for future automated tooling. Integrated a new contributor tooling file, app_function_axelle23.txt, to support governance and attribution processes. Utilized version control best practices throughout the process, ensuring accurate history and traceability. Although no new features were added, the work demonstrated attention to repository hygiene and onboarding, with a technical emphasis on Git workflows and metadata organization.
