Developed the foundational scaffolding for the Aya-mj project within the EPF-MDE/git-first-steps repository, focusing on establishing a reusable template to streamline future development. The work included creating an initial Aya-mj file as a placeholder, updating documentation to explicitly acknowledge authorship, and implementing the first application function artifact to enable immediate continuous integration setup. By prioritizing clear documentation and structured text-based templates, the project reduced time-to-first-commit for new contributors and facilitated early onboarding. The approach emphasized maintainability and consistency, laying the groundwork for subsequent feature development while ensuring that contribution metadata and project structure were clearly defined.
