In June 2025, Tnak focused on enhancing the clarity and maintainability of preloading tests within the mozilla/gecko-dev repository. By refactoring the test suite to rename the preloading eagerness level from "eager" to "immediate," Tnak addressed ambiguity in test naming and laid the groundwork for future distinctions between eager and immediate preloading logic. This work, implemented using JavaScript and web platform testing tools, did not introduce user-facing or functional changes but improved the test suite’s readability and traceability. The maintainability-focused approach supports future enhancements in preloading behavior and aligns test conventions with ongoing development efforts in the repository.
