Worked on stabilizing the Performance Alert Plugin within the vatesfr/xen-orchestra repository, focusing on backend development and system monitoring using JavaScript. Addressed a key bug by refining the configuration schema to robustly handle empty lists and enforce the presence of required items, ensuring more reliable alert configurations. Improved monitoring logic so that only running virtual machines and hosts are included, which reduced false positives and enhanced alert accuracy. Delivered these changes through two targeted commits, consolidating bug fixes to reinforce production monitoring reliability. The work demonstrated attention to configuration management and contributed to a more stable and accurate monitoring environment.
