Developed a wxPython-based GUI launcher for the ArduPilot/ardupilot repository, focusing on improving the usability of sim_vehicle.py simulation configuration. The work introduced a graphical interface that allows users to select vehicles and configure simulation options, streamlining the setup process for developers and operators. By wrapping existing command-line arguments in a lightweight, optional GUI, the implementation preserved all core behaviors while enhancing accessibility. The solution was delivered entirely in Python, leveraging skills in GUI development and the wxPython framework. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering this single, targeted feature to improve user interaction.
