Worked across lizongying/homebrew-cask and JunkFood02/FreshRSS to enhance release reliability and CI/CD efficiency. Addressed upgrade conflicts in Podman Desktop by refining the uninstall procedure, removing explicit application directory deletion to streamline upgrades and reduce errors. In FreshRSS, optimized the GitHub Actions workflow so Docker images are published only for finalized releases, cutting unnecessary builds and aligning deployment with actual release events. Leveraged Ruby and YAML to implement these changes, applying CI/CD and DevOps best practices. The work demonstrated a disciplined approach to automation, improving operational efficiency and reducing deployment risk across both repositories within a focused development period.
