Worked on the HGustavs/LenaSYS repository to enhance front-end performance and maintainability by migrating the codebase from jQuery to native DOM APIs using JavaScript. This transition reduced external dependencies and improved runtime efficiency, while updates to JSON parsing and window dimension handling further streamlined the user interface. Developed a feature to persist the collapse and expand state of statistics swimlanes across page reloads, addressing a common usability issue and improving session continuity. Additional work included code cleanups, clarifying comments, and minor UI refinements, all aimed at simplifying future maintenance and ensuring the reliability of session storage and DOM manipulation features.
May 2025: LenaSYS delivery focused on performance, reliability, and maintainability for HGustavs/LenaSYS. Key outcomes include a migration away from jQuery to native DOM APIs, which reduced dependencies and improved runtime performance, and the persistence of the statistics swimlanes UI state across page reloads, eliminating a common source of user confusion. Minor UI and code quality improvements were implemented to clarify behavior and simplify future maintenance.
