During June 2025, Baptiste focused on improving user experience in the BiteSpeed-Dev/chatwoot repository by addressing a UX issue related to image interactions within the message component. He disabled the custom context menu on image elements, restoring the browser’s native right-click functionality and reducing user confusion caused by conflicting menus. This targeted fix was implemented using Vue.js and front-end development best practices, ensuring robust event handling and browser-agnostic behavior. Baptiste’s work was carefully scoped to the message component, minimizing risk and avoiding unintended UI changes. The solution enhanced usability without introducing new features or altering the existing API surface.
