During January 2026, Bartolli developed and released a new Homebrew formula for Codanna, a code intelligence system featuring semantic search, within the gittools-bot/homebrew-core repository. By leveraging Ruby and Homebrew’s package management framework, Bartolli enabled developers to easily install and experiment with Codanna’s semantic search tooling through a streamlined Homebrew workflow. The work focused on integrating Codanna’s capabilities into the Homebrew ecosystem, ensuring compatibility and ease of use for end users. While the project scope was limited to a single feature over one month, the implementation demonstrated a clear understanding of Ruby, formula creation, and open-source package distribution practices.
