During October 2025, Basaba developed Winget packaging integration for KustoTerminal in the vedantmgoyal9/winget-pkgs repository. Focusing on package management and leveraging YAML, Basaba created manifest files, detailed installer metadata, and ensured locale readiness to support the KustoTerminal 0.1.0 release. This work enabled streamlined installation and updates for users through the Windows Package Manager, improving both accessibility and maintainability. By aligning the packaging process with repository standards, Basaba enhanced the discoverability of KustoTerminal and simplified its distribution. The contribution demonstrated a focused application of package management skills, with depth in metadata structuring and adherence to Windows packaging conventions.
