Worked on the Shopify Hydrogen repository to enhance the h2 deploy process by improving error handling and developer feedback. Focused on preserving original build errors rather than wrapping them in generic messages, the work ensured that actionable AbortError messages, such as those indicating missing dependencies like the vite package, were clearly surfaced to guide remediation. Added a regression test to verify that these errors remain visible during deployment failures. Leveraged TypeScript and CLI development skills to reduce debugging time, minimize misleading crash reports, and provide clearer deployment guidance, demonstrating a strong approach to error handling and test automation within the project.
