Over a two-month period, contributed targeted improvements to the zeek/zeek and tweag/topiary repositories, focusing on documentation reliability and build system maintainability. Addressed documentation issues in Zeek by correcting directive usage and removing invalid references, which enhanced the accuracy and discoverability of generated docs. In Topiary, implemented a dependency cleanup using Rust tooling and resolved a build configuration duplication issue, ensuring stable builds across feature sets. Demonstrated proficiency in Rust, build configuration, and dependency management while reducing technical debt and improving project structure. The work emphasized maintainability, error handling, and robust validation practices across both codebases and documentation pipelines.
