Worked on the Homebrew/homebrew-cask repository to deliver an uninstall cleanup feature that removes the ChmodBPF launch daemon during NetViews uninstallation. This update ensures that no residual components remain after uninstall, reducing user confusion and minimizing post-uninstall support needs. The solution was implemented through two targeted commits, leveraging Ruby scripting and shell scripting to handle launch daemon removal within the Homebrew cask workflow. The work demonstrated proficiency in cask management, macOS development, and Git-based change management, resulting in a more reliable and maintainable uninstall process that lowers the maintenance burden for both users and maintainers of the project.
