Worked on enhancing EVPN multihoming support across the sonic-buildimage and sonic-utilities repositories, focusing on both stability and operator usability. Addressed critical crash scenarios in BGPD by introducing defensive programming patterns in C, such as NULL checks and safer pointer handling, which reduced the risk of failures during EVPN multihoming path teardown. Developed new CLI commands in Python to configure EVPN VXLAN multihoming and static anycast gateway features, enabling operators to manage startup delay, MAC hold time, and neighbor hold time. Updated documentation and test coverage to reflect these changes, improving onboarding and ensuring robust, reliable network configuration workflows.
