Contributed to the google/osv.dev repository by expanding support for the MinimOS ecosystem, focusing on package management and vulnerability scanning. Developed an updated EcosystemPURL mapping and implemented a new MinimOS PURL converter using Python, enabling accurate conversion of MinimOS package names to standardized PURLs. Complemented this feature with comprehensive unit tests to ensure reliable parsing and conversion functionality. The work enhanced the tool’s ability to handle MinimOS packages, improving dependency mapping and ecosystem coverage. Throughout the process, emphasized robust testing practices and clear integration with existing code, leveraging skills in Python and unit testing to deliver maintainable, ecosystem-specific enhancements.
