Tom Beech expanded database coverage for Puppet Enterprise by delivering a feature to add the pe-workflow database to the supported list for PE 2025.6.0 and later within the puppetlabs/puppetlabs-peadm repository. He implemented version-range checks and ensured that related databases such as pe-hac, pe-patching, and pe-infra-assistant were correctly identified and managed across newer releases. Using Puppet and applying configuration management and DevOps practices, Tom’s work reduced upgrade risk and improved runtime database detection for deployments.
