Worked on the eclipse-sumo/sumo repository to deliver comprehensive Russian localization, translating 96.5% of application strings and enabling Russian-speaking users to interact with the software more effectively. Utilized PO files and the Weblate platform to manage and implement the translation workflow, ensuring translation provenance through tracked commits. Focused on localization and translation as core technical skills, the work laid the foundation for broader internationalization and streamlined onboarding for non-English users. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on expanding language support and preparing the application for future locale additions and improved global usability.
