
During June 2025, Keble enhanced the aws/aws-eks-best-practices repository by extending Linkbot’s link validation capabilities to support AsciiDoc files in addition to Markdown. Keble generalized the link extraction logic, enabling Linkbot to parse and validate links across multiple documentation formats, which improved the reliability and consistency of documentation checks. This work involved leveraging Python and Shell scripting, with a focus on file parsing and regular expressions to accurately identify and validate links. By addressing cross-format link validation, Keble’s contribution reduced the risk of broken links, supporting better documentation quality and operational readiness for the AWS EKS Best Practices project.
