During April 2025, Belphegor completed the Japanese localization for the SUSE/rmt repository, translating 302 interface strings and updating associated metadata to enhance accessibility for Japanese-speaking users. Leveraging PO files and the Weblate platform, Belphegor streamlined the localization workflow, reducing manual translation overhead and supporting ongoing maintainability. The work focused on internationalization and localization, ensuring the RMT system was fully prepared for multilingual deployment. By delivering the entire translation in a single, traceable commit, Belphegor provided a clear audit trail and improved the user experience. The depth of the work lay in both technical execution and process optimization.
