
During April 2025, Freek delivered complete Dutch localization for the SUSE/rmt repository, achieving 100% translation coverage across 302 strings. Working primarily with PO files and leveraging Weblate for translation management, Freek refined and corrected existing translations to ensure consistency and accuracy throughout the project. The work focused on internationalization and localization, reducing production localization risks and improving onboarding for Dutch-speaking users in the NL and BE markets. Freek’s disciplined workflow included close collaboration with translators and developers, integrating localization automation and i18n best practices to ensure the project was fully prepared for Dutch language support without post-release fixes.
