Worked on stabilizing the test suite for the Shopify/roast repository, focusing on improving reliability and efficiency in continuous integration workflows. Addressed persistent flaky tests by enhancing fixture setup, specifically adding a missing .roast directory to ensure consistent test environments. Updated error-message assertions to reflect current outputs, which eliminated false negatives and improved test accuracy. Utilized Ruby for both debugging and testing tasks, applying methodical troubleshooting to isolate and resolve issues. These efforts resulted in a more dependable CI process, reducing time spent on debugging and enabling faster iteration for future feature development and bug fixes within the codebase.
