Worked on the payloadcms/payload repository to enhance the accuracy and clarity of documentation related to the importMap feature. Focused on resolving a documentation bug by correcting a path typo and clarifying that component paths are relative to the project's base directory, which can be explicitly set using the config.admin.importMap.baseDir option. Utilized Markdown to update technical documentation, ensuring that users can configure import paths correctly and avoid common misconfigurations. This work improved onboarding and reduced deployment errors by aligning documentation with actual system behavior, demonstrating attention to detail and a strong understanding of documentation best practices in complex JavaScript projects.
