Worked on the winterheart/gentoo repository to deliver targeted package updates and maintenance over a two-month period, focusing on build systems, Gentoo Ebuild, and package management. Updated and refreshed packaging for several key applications, including Dropbox, memtest86-bin, bblaunch, Remmina, fotocx, ell, and iwd, ensuring alignment with current stable releases and modern toolchains. Deprecated legacy components such as connman 1.42 to reduce security risk and streamline maintenance. Employed Ebuild and Shell scripting to implement new ebuilds, update manifests, and address compatibility with GCC 14, prioritizing security, stability, and maintainability without introducing new bugs during the review period.
