Focused on backend development using Rust, the work involved implementing a fix that ensures video segments are sorted numerically and accurately parsed from folder names during the recovery process. This approach prevented misprocessing of segments and safeguarded against data loss, preserving the integrity of recorded video data. The solution required careful handling of file system operations and robust parsing logic to manage segment identification. Throughout the month, the primary contribution centered on resolving this critical bug, demonstrating attention to detail and a methodical engineering approach.
