During February 2025, Blate focused on enhancing the Ukrainian localization and metadata quality for the deltachat/deltachat-android repository. They updated Ukrainian translations and reworded the app’s metadata, aligning the title with the app name to improve presentation and discoverability in the Ukrainian market. Using Weblate for translation workflow and commit-driven development, Blate ensured consistency and traceability across updates. Their work centered on localization and internationalization, with attention to metadata optimization for Android app distribution. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the changes were validated by QA and positioned the app for increased user engagement in the Ukrainian store.
