Worked on the Azure/bicep-registry-modules repository to deliver a feature enabling regional isolation for User Assigned Identities. Introduced an optional isolationScope parameter, allowing deployments to restrict identity assignments to specific regions or leave them unrestricted, thereby reducing misconfiguration risks and improving governance. The implementation focused on maintainability, with clear commit history and comprehensive test coverage to validate the new parameter and prevent regressions. Utilized Bicep and JSON to develop and test the infrastructure-as-code solution, emphasizing stability and CI readiness. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as efforts centered on feature delivery and enhancing module security posture.
