Blue Coral worked on expanding and improving package management in the hmemcpy/nixpkgs repository over a two-month period, focusing on build systems and DevOps practices using Nix and the Nix Expression Language. They implemented end-to-end packaging for the LibXeddsa library and its Python bindings, enabling reliable deployment and seamless downstream integration. In addition, Blue Coral added four new user-facing packages—freeDiameter, hyperswarm, x3dh, and hyperblobs—while updating the Hyperbeam package to enhance reproducibility and maintainability. Their work emphasized explicit versioning, reproducible builds, and maintainable packaging, contributing to a more robust and accessible development environment for Nixpkgs users.
