Worked on the nextcloud/app_api repository to enhance deployment reliability by developing a HaRP container version compatibility validation feature. This addition introduced a setup-time check that verifies the HaRP container’s version, aiming to prevent misconfigurations and ensure consistent runtime behavior. The approach focused on early detection of incompatibilities, reducing deployment risks and streamlining onboarding for new environments. The work was implemented using PHP and backend development practices, with an emphasis on API development. Throughout the process, clear commit messaging and traceability were maintained, and no major bugs were reported during the period, reflecting a focused and methodical engineering approach.
