Worked on the UKHomeOffice/design-system repository to enhance documentation usability and policy clarity. Addressed a broken link in the typography documentation, preventing 404 errors and clarifying the Roboto typeface licensing for internal services. Improved user experience by updating GDS Transport links to open in new tabs, allowing readers to access external resources without leaving the documentation. Focused on reducing navigation friction and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements. Utilized React for front end development and applied both JavaScript and TypeScript to maintain documentation quality. The work delivered one feature and one bug fix, reflecting targeted improvements within a short engagement period.
