During June 2025, Bben contributed to the open-webui/open-webui repository by delivering Danish (da-DK) translation updates, focusing on enhancing UI accessibility for Danish-speaking users. Working with JavaScript and leveraging front end development skills, Bben localized UI strings across major screens, aligning with internationalization and localization best practices. The work involved a targeted, low-risk change set that maintained UI consistency while supporting the product’s expansion into the Danish market. Although the contribution was limited to a single feature and did not include bug fixes, the update improved the application’s accessibility and usability for a broader audience without introducing deployment risk.
