During March 2025, Bona focused on optimizing Monte Carlo analysis workflows in the silvest/HEPfit repository through targeted configuration management. Bona adjusted the MonteCarlo.conf file by increasing prerun maximum iterations, reducing main analysis iterations, and updating the convergence threshold (RValueForConvergence). This configuration tuning balanced analysis accuracy with runtime efficiency, enabling faster and more cost-effective computational runs. The work demonstrated disciplined commit-based development and a strong grasp of performance optimization within configuration-driven environments. Although the scope was limited to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, Bona’s contributions reflected depth in configuration management and Monte Carlo analysis tuning using configuration languages.
