Focused on configuration management using plaintext, the work involved replacing the deprecated force_no_accel setting with accel_profile=flat to improve pointer accuracy and consistency across devices. This change aligned the input configuration with ongoing platform deprecation efforts, reducing technical debt and simplifying future maintenance. The update was implemented as a single feature pull request, with thorough code comments and documentation to clarify the new behavior for future contributors. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on this targeted enhancement.
