During July 2025, Bqbn enhanced the CI/CD Docker deployment workflow for the mozilla/treeherder repository by introducing support for Google Cloud Artifact Registry. They refactored the existing build and deploy steps to ensure compatibility with GAR, leveraging YAML and Docker to streamline the process. Bqbn integrated CircleCI orbs and commands for seamless GCP interaction and implemented conditional deployment logic to safeguard releases. Additionally, they upgraded the CircleCI base image to improve tooling stability. This work focused on modernizing the deployment pipeline, enabling automated Docker image pushes to GAR, and strengthening the reliability and maintainability of the CI/CD infrastructure.
