Worked on modernizing the phpDocumentor/Reflection repository by upgrading its codebase to leverage native PHP 8 features. Focused on removing the symfony/polyfill-php80 dependency, this effort reduced the project’s reliance on external libraries and simplified ongoing maintenance. Using PHP for back end development, the changes improved compatibility and reliability for users operating in PHP 8 environments. By streamlining the build and deployment process, the work laid a foundation for future enhancements that can take full advantage of PHP 8 capabilities. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, with the primary emphasis placed on feature development and codebase modernization.
