During their recent work, Spirkov focused on backend reliability and compatibility improvements across craftcms/cms and phpDocumentor/Reflection. In craftcms/cms, Spirkov addressed static analysis issues by removing an undefined UrlManager method call and ensuring UrlManager was properly defined in ApplicationTrait, which reduced regression risk and improved maintainability for URL handling. For phpDocumentor/Reflection, Spirkov upgraded dependencies and aligned build tooling to support PHP 8.2, enhancing type resolution and repository hygiene. Their work utilized PHP, Makefile, and XML, demonstrating a methodical approach to dependency management, continuous integration, and backend development, with a focus on long-term code quality and maintainability.
