Worked on modernizing the build and deployment processes for the systeminit/si repository by introducing Buck2 build system support and enhancing CI/CD workflows. Developed a Buck2 BXL execution script and updated configuration files to enable Buck2-based builds, streamlining development and release cycles. Added new CI/CD scripts to automate deployment and testing, improving pipeline efficiency and reliability. Addressed a frontend validation issue related to RBE tokens in the CI process, merging a targeted fix to ensure smoother end-to-end builds. Utilized AWS, Node.js, and Python scripting throughout the project, standardizing build practices and reducing onboarding time for new contributors.
