Worked on enhancing the OpenRailAssociation/osrd repository by implementing Chinese (Simplified Han) translations for the Operational Studies section, focusing on front end development and localization. Established a Weblate-driven translation management workflow, introducing a new UI string for 'macro' to improve accessibility for Chinese-speaking users. The approach involved using JSON for translation files and ensuring traceability through signed-off commits. Although the initial translation covered a small portion of the total strings, the work laid a foundation for future internationalization efforts and documented translation status for ongoing expansion, supporting broader accessibility and market reach for non-English-speaking users within the OSRD platform.
