During December 2025, work focused on refactoring the FreeBSD-Ask/FreeBSD-Ask repository to streamline its architecture and reduce ongoing maintenance. The primary contribution involved removing an unused directory associated with a deprecated feature, which helped clarify module boundaries and eliminate dead code paths. This targeted cleanup was implemented using Git for version control and shell scripting to ensure a smooth transition. Throughout the process, build integrity was maintained, with no regressions introduced. The effort reduced technical debt and simplified future development, reflecting a methodical approach to codebase hygiene and maintainability within a collaborative open source environment. No bugs were addressed.
