Worked on the awslabs/landing-zone-accelerator-on-aws repository to modularize configuration management by externalizing the healthcare sample configuration into a dedicated repository. This approach reduced coupling between the main codebase and configuration files, enhancing maintainability and enabling cross-repository reuse. The update involved removing healthcare-related configuration files and images from the primary repository and updating the README to reference the new configuration location. Leveraged AWS, DevOps practices, and configuration management skills, utilizing markdown and yaml to document and structure the changes. The work focused on improving deployment reliability and maintainability by separating concerns and streamlining the configuration management process.
