Using React and TypeScript, Buda improved collaboration UI clarity by refactoring hooks and relocating interface elements for better accessibility. In tldraw/tldraw, Buda streamlined error dialog behavior to reduce irrelevant support requests and introduced a frame auto-resize feature that adapts to content and rotation. Additionally, Buda enhanced the link editing workflow by implementing automatic text selection in the Edit Link menu. The work demonstrated thoughtful UI state management and consistent, low-risk improvements without introducing regressions or bugs.

In May 2025, delivered a focused UX enhancement in tldraw/tldraw: Edit Link Menu Auto-Select Text on Open. The feature automatically selects the entire link text when the Edit Link menu is opened, speeding editing and reducing user error. This work was tracked under ENG-3385 and implemented in commit 039cf65b21574c85c44ae443aa1b5604072eae9a (PR #6072). No major bugs were fixed in this scope during May.
