Worked on the cockroachdb/claude-code-action repository to consolidate and enforce Agent Mode Tool Restrictions, focusing on improving reliability and security for agent-driven workflows. Centralized the configuration of allowed and disallowed tools into single string variables, streamlining both exports and test coverage to ensure proper enforcement during agent mode execution. Addressed an enforcement gap by fixing a bug that previously allowed unapproved tools to run, thereby enhancing maintainability and future readiness. Utilized TypeScript for full stack development and comprehensive testing, and documented the updated enforcement expectations to support ongoing maintainability and clarity for future contributors working with Markdown and TypeScript.
