Worked on enhancing the metadata registry within the forcedotcom/source-deploy-retrieve repository by introducing a new FlowValueMap type, aimed at improving the management and recognition of metadata types in the deploy and retrieve workflow. This feature, implemented using TypeScript and full stack development skills, enables more robust handling of metadata and supports smoother downstream processing. The change aligns with the W-20006675 initiative, ensuring traceability and laying the groundwork for future extensions of metadata types. By focusing on the core deployment workflow, the work contributed to increased reliability and efficiency in metadata operations without introducing any bug fixes during the period.
