Worked on the CapSoftware/Cap repository to enhance both security and code quality within a one-month period. Addressed a Next.js vulnerability by upgrading the framework to version 15.5.9 across multiple package.json files, reducing security risks and aligning with compliance standards. Improved maintainability by updating the ESLint configuration to eslint-config-next 15.5.9, enabling more robust linting and faster issue detection. Utilized JavaScript and JSON for dependency management and configuration updates, focusing on front end development best practices. The work delivered targeted improvements that strengthened the project’s security posture and ensured ongoing code quality for future development cycles.
