
Worked on the cmu-argus-2/FSW-mainboard repository to deliver flexible RF modulation and enhance APRS packet processing for embedded radio systems. Developed support for FSK and GFSK modulation, enabling dynamic switching from LoRa to GFSK and ensuring the radio automatically enters receive mode after modulation changes. Improved the digipeater’s APRS handling by introducing regex-based packet validation and refining the processing of valid satellite messages. Focused on code quality and maintainability throughout, leveraging Python and regular expressions to implement robust communication protocol features. The work emphasized backend development and code linting, resulting in two new features and improved system reliability.
