During May 2026, contributed to the jellyfin/jellyfin-web repository by delivering comprehensive Japanese localization for the web user interface. This work involved translating UI elements and error messages using JSON, with all changes sourced and managed through the Weblate platform to maintain consistency and accuracy. Focused on front end development and internationalization, the implementation enhanced accessibility for Japanese-speaking users and supported the project’s broader localization strategy. No bug fixes were addressed during this period, but the integration of up-to-date translations improved onboarding and usability, while also strengthening collaboration with translation teams to streamline future localization workflows.
